Mr. Chinwike Asadu, Kwara State
Commissioner of Police was shot dead in Enugu on Saturday night by unknown
gunmen. His two orderlies, Oliver Omeh and Aloha Olaniyi who were with him at
the time of the incident sustained various degrees of bullet wounds and are in
critical conditions as they are receiving treatment at the National Orthopedic
Hospital, Enugu. It was learnt that the incident occurred at Amorji Nike, near
the densely populated Abakpa Nike area in Enugu East Local Government Area
within the state capital at about 10 pm.
