DO YOU HAVE A DREAM?

For any man to succeed in life, he must have a dream. What is a dream? A dream is a goal, a wish, an objective, an ambition etc, you want to achieve. A dream gives a man the direction to follow in life. A man without a dream is a man without a direction. A man without a dream is an aimless man. He is just wandering on planet earth; in fact he is a wandering Jew. Do you have a dream? What do you want to achieve in life? Do you want to become a medical doctor, lawyer, journalist, broadcaster, businessman, sportsman/woman, an architect etc? You can achieve any of these or all of these, if you so wish. It must be made clear that nothing is impossible under the sun if you have a dream.

 You can achieve anything if you determine to do so. Tell me that man that has achieved greatness in this world, I will tell you that man that once had a dream. Anyone that has achieved greatness in life once had a dream. What is your dream? The reason why many people are confused today is because they don’t have a dream. Why won’t you be confused when you don’t have a dream? You wake from sleep in the morning without having anything in mind to do, won’t you be confused? Your dream will guide you on what to do each day. Your dream is the compass that will direct you to your destination; that is why a man who has no dream becomes confused in life. How will anyone live in this wide world without knowing what he wants from it? Such a person will be confused because he will be tossed here and there by every wind that blows around. A dream stabilises your mind and drives away confusion because you have a target you are pursuing. A man that has no dream does anything he sees; he is a jack of all trades master of none! Joseph in the Holy Bible had a dream. His dream was to become a leader and he achieved just that in the land of Egypt. He became a prime minister in Egypt where he was once a slave. Martin Luther King Jr. was the proponent of modern dream concept. He said, “...I have a dream that my four children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character...” Today, the dream of Martin Luther King Jr. has been fulfilled in the emergence of Mr. Barack Obama as the first black man to become the president of America. Do you have a dream? You must have a dream if you want to succeed in this wide world. Do you have a dream? Do you have a dream? Do you have a dream? You will make it! See you at the zenith of your dream.
