Music composer and singer, Babatunde Okungbowa popular known as OJB Jezreel passed
on to the great beyond yesterday. OJB Jezreel has been battling with kidney disease
in the past three years until he succumbed to the mighty hand of death early in the morning at the Lagos State General Hospital in Isolo. His corpse has been deposited at the morgue of same hospital. In 2013, he was diagnosed with kidney disease and he was flown to India with the help of his loved ones who raised N26 million for him. He had a successful kidney transplant and lived for another three years till the cold hands of death snatched him away today.
He was aged 50 and he is survived by three wives and many children. May his gentle soul rest in the bosom of the Lord.
