Joseph Yobo, former Nigeria defender was this weekend conferred with a chieftaincy title in Ogoniland. Yobo was conferred with the title of Mene Aborlo 1 of Ogoniland while his wife Adaeze was given the title of Waamene Aborlo 1 of Ogoniland. The titles were bestowed on the duo by King GNK Gininwa. The honour was conferred on him just a day after he was given a superlative exit from professional football by a collection of all-star footballers like Austin Okocha, Samuel Eto'o, Sulley Muntari, Stephen Appiah, Lomana Lualua, Mutiu Adepoju, Austin Eguavoen, Ben Iroha and Laryea Kingston during his testimonial in Port Harcourt to celebrate his 101 cap.
